Were you in that maroon Pete that was a few doors down from me? It seemed like it was following me around. First at the wash in Mass, then up in Haverhill at the shipper, and then it was there at the receiver.

As far as the exploding cans go, every load I have ever had with that biscuit dough on it has had at least a few cases rejected for that. It happens, and GM knows it happens. I think you have to have about 20 cases rejected before the instruction becomes something other than "throw it away".

Someday I'm gonna get me a toaster oven... I'm tired of giving away all those biscuit rolls to other drivers without keeping a few for myself.

BTW, someone should do a sociology study on truck drivers and the free damaged freight give away at truck stops. You can tell a dozen guys sitting in their trucks you've got free, food. None of them will move an inch until the least suspicious of them comes away with an armful of stuff. Then they all come running.:yes2557:

Sometimes the stragglers come up empty handed or disappointed they didn't get the "good stuff cuz that other guy took all the strawberry yogurt, and all I got to choose was plain vanilla"

    You snooze, you lose:biggrin_2552:

Yup... truely amazing what you CAN'T give away at the truckstop. The last damaged product I had was two cases of plain vanilla cake donuts... all ready to get dolled-up into something fancy.

So... took 'em to the truckwarsh, gave 'em to the truckwarsh guys - and got the best truckwarsh ever!

Chesapeake VA, way early at my receiver's - down the road from U2's trailer repair scam of a couple of weeks ago...

Only a few miles from my East coast home base in VA Beach.

I saw more Prime trucks with trailers in the area then I have ever seen before 3 weeks ago.

Not just the 2 truck stops I happened to be in while there.

2 different hotels. A couple parked in random spots.

One truck in a shopping center way down VA Beach Blvd in near Lynnhaven. I'd be interested in what customers we have down there... No way he wandered way down there looking for a parking spot if Big Charlies was full.

Getting sausage stuff unloaded in Waelder, TX. Prolly headed to SpriMO as I got a message about fifth wheel recall. Anybody else get this? I hope they raise it. I know I can use the work out, but I'm really getting tired of having to lower 90% of the trailers I hook to!:biggrin_25510:

    Hey U2...

You'll have a great time there. Been to the Louvre... if you like art it's neat. Been to the 2nd level of the Eiffel Tower... couldn't do the top :) Great views of paris from there though...

    Have fun :)

I had it done. It is just some parts inside to help with a connection problem some have been having. There was one earlier to get a lightweight 5th wheel from Fontaine.

I am in LaGrange, GA. Just unloaded some beer I got in Cartersville last night. First weigh at the famous Anheuser-Busch plant there was 82,960! Like they've never loaded a trailer before! Even after they took off two pallets (4,000 lbs) the weight was still nearly 79k - with 46k worth of product. That means with the original load, there was about 50,000 lbs on the load! Are they crazy? Not supposed to be drinking the product at work, guys!

Should be at the terminal tomorrow afternoon. Hoping they get this done quick and I can finish this load to Pleasant Prairie, WI for Monday morning. At the rinky dink Love's in Troy, TX. Lot of time behind the wheel today, just didn't move very far. Austin rush hour starts at noon on Fridays instead of one.
