What truck number did you get and who took our old one?

We're headed up to Billings on Monday... prolly won't cross, though.

Delivered the POS truck to Helena and grabbed my truck.

I got an AB load from Helena to Fort Collins that delivers on Monday, then I hope to grab a load to Vegas, then SFS for a couple of days of home time, I have a couple of runts I need to see.

The new (to me) truck is pretty clean. It has a Pony pack, but it just blows outside air into the cab, don't cool S@#t. Oh well, at least it was detailed inside, a few bleach wipes on the bunk vinyl, new mattress from shop and I was set. Now if I can only find some room for all this crap...:biggrin_25523:

Got the fridge I stole from Java Joe in place, now just need to get my inverter installed. Shop seemed too busy today, so it'll have to wait till later....

Time for some laundry, shower and sleep.....:biggrin_25522:

    I got #1958 Freightliner

This man by the name of Charley came in for the 3 day and got your old truck. He's an old time W/S employee, walking around with Charley was like running wingman with a celebrity over at the Missoula terminal.:biggrin_2559:Everybody that's been there long enough knew that guy.... He was pretty cool, we were roommates for one night, then when a room became available, I got him kicked out, so I could have my room back to myself...:yes2557:

sounds like a Century...nice truck isnt it. When you get to the hills with that heavy arse beer load, and she starts coughing and sputtering...just talk dirty to her like the dirty girl she is and she'll crawl up the hill....slowly.....but you'll make it up.....someday :biggrin_25523:

Welcome to the mixed pleasure/punishment of a Frieghtliner with a Detroit :biggrin_25525:

Supersized! or under sized (Super Singles), however you want to look at it. Yeah, it's a Century, good room inside.

Not sure how far I'm going to run, don't even know how I'm getting out of Helena :biggrin_2559:

I'd like to get 2/3rd's of it out of the way tomorrow, so I only have a couple hundred to run Monday morning.

    American-Trucker Thanks this.

Guess you were too new to get the 1993... at least you're in the 1900s.

Joe might know who Charley is; I don't have a clue.

    HEY HEY HEY!!!!

    I like my truck!

It's got loads of room, it's very clean inside and out, has an APU (Okay, it turns on, but don't blow cool air, but it has one :biggrin_2559:) and aside from there being little to know clutch brake, it runs pretty smooth.......:biggrin_255:

I feel like I lucked out with this truck, coming out of my 10 day. Hell, I heard what some of the ones from the previous 10 day were getting into, basically trucks that the yard watch dog was sleeping in, not running, etc. I feel pretty good......

I think I'm going to stop somewhere in WY tomorrow, but I'm not sure where yet, if you guys think of somewhere decent, let me know (Helena - Fort Collins, CO), I'll check back in the morning.......

I dont know if you can make it but there are lots of truck stops on I-25 before the CO state line, i cant remember how far from helena that is though.

If you have the hours Johnsons Corner is just south of Fort Collins and has the BEST BBQ i've had on the road, GREAT cheap showers too!. Get a AmBest card from them (there free and come with 4 showers on it!)

its like 15 min south of Fort Collins.

If i rememeber right there are a bunch of Flying J's on I-25 throught WY
