Look at the mufflers, are they getting plugged? Hi-flows will help, I run them on my 2000 3406E.

I would check the fuel filters and also to see if the fuel lines from the tanks are soft or collapsing. Maybe a waste gate issue???

I have same set up and when mine start to clog (generally 10000-12000 miles) it falls off bad at 1550 rpm, it will get to the point that it will only get to 65 with it on the floor. I'm sure if I were to keep going it would shut it down eventually. I carry extra fuel filters with me. My screen one can be cleaned and replaced but I carry an extra anyway.

My local Peterbilt shop has the cat filters in stock and allot of the truck stops will carry an off brand replacement filter but I use CAT filters.
