I'd quit now. Tell them to find somebody else 2 "wait on a truck".

Should I? I don't know....I did fax over a release forum for Roehl this morning. I figured if they are going to call me on the first day I'm home, I should take it as a sign. All I know is when I was there last week and asked if they could call me if a truck was available, I got this blank stare. It seems like there is no meeting me halfway here. I'm going to call again in an hour, see what happens. I'm still on the account.... just need..... you know, a freaking truck.

Wait until you get a confirmation with Roehl, then give your notice. Assuming you have a truck by then I'd think they'd have you turn it in sooner rather than later. The sooner you get it done, the sooner you can experience the power of red

You sitting at home doesn't help matters. The company way of thinking is it costs them nothing for you wait it out, AT HOME, VS paying the drivers hotels etc sitting at the yard. Oh, yeah, you switching accounts screwed up their "rythem" too. Like Joe Friday used to say, "Just the facts, Mam".

Well we're living here in Allentown
And they're closing all the factories down
Out in Bethlehem they're killing time
    Filling out forms
    Standing in line.

    Hang in there bro!:biggrin_25525:

I agree, you being at home is out of sight, out of mind. They'll give the trucks to the driver staring them down across the desk. It's not right but it is human nature, assuming the office workers at Werner are human.

    They would send a driver on a 500 mile recovery - B4 paying unemployment ... :biggrin_25524:
