Awesome, I can't wait to get started. Although I admit I am a bit nervous.

Hey, Northernrr, I see you're in the northeastern Lower Peninsula. Does FFE have a good presence in "non-Detroit" Michigan? I'm in Western Michigan and finding a national company with a good "presence" here has been challenging.

weather is hot and humid today. Might stay that way all week. It rained a little last night. It has been at least 10 degrees cooler the last 10 days then it has been for like 3 months. Still in the 90's though.

As for detroit, I dont go there often, But they are desperate for LTL and regional out of Chicago.

The problem is that's a pretty hefty drive from here...about 3-4 hours one way...and I've never seen an FFE truck on I-96 outside my office. But who knows. I don't need a whole lot of hometime, just once every so often to get the mail and make sure I haven't developed a, um..."indoor pool" from frozen pipes or something in the winter.

Lots and lots of freeweay driving and hill climbs, descents. Grabbing gears to slow down off ramps. took a trip to the lancaster terminal for lunch (dirver's appreciation week) and I even won a die cast model nascar race car in the raffle. Good times were had today. Final evaluation tomorrow. Then DPS on Monday. Wish me luck.

Well, since the DOT requires 3 years, probably nobody. Drive safely for the next two years.

    Nycmex77 Thanks this.
