Yeah the other driver was stuck in Georgia at the first drop for 12 hours, so I am still waiting for him. I fully expect to have to do Pompano and Miami tomorrow.

Why is it that these companies get away with making you guys wait hours past your times and nothing is done to them, That just seems so unfair. Just askin

Because a lot of drivers have no balls to stand up for what's right, just like getting #### on.

This is a huge problem that needs to be addressed, rather than scrutinizing the logbook and underwear size of every driver. I think nonsense like that is the cause of a lot of OOS violations.

I sit for about 3 hours, if they are slow or dragging ***, i go in and question the dock forman. I point blank tell them where my hours are. I also tell them that i need parking on sight if i run out of hours. sometimes it works and some times it doesnt. What really Ts me off is when I pay for lumpers, and they are slow. For some reason most of the recievers know that we dont get detenion pay until after 4 hours, and they use every minute of it.

TRUE but most of the empty ones at jbs are new, they have drivers geting out of some an have a turn over rate no doubt, but they have that many trucks in order to grow, An who do you drive for ?

Walleyemaster, you're half-right. The trucks are empty for a reason, but every good company has empty trucks. Every large quality trucking company in the country has at least 10% empty trucks, and JBS Carriers is close to that number. Many companies are much higher, but JBS Carriers' turnover is far below the industry average. Did you know JBS Carriers' turnover this year is less than 70%, while the average for large trucking companies is well over 100%?
