Yesterday evening, with the sun still shining and visibility good, a driver with Palmentere Bros. pulled out from a side street, without stopping at the stop sign, made his wide right turn to go west. Now, all in all this doesn't seem out of place, but it was done right in front of me!! My little car wouldn't have stood a chance against this tractor trailer for sure, but it burned my last nerve to see this driver ease past a STOP sign with my car less than maybe 30-50 feet away. There was no vegetation obscuring the drivers line of vision and being as the driver sits way higher than the standard car, all I can say is that driver was the most inconsiderate driver I've (almost) had contact with!! Along with the fact the driver may need to have his vision checked!! I made a verbal complaint with the company immediately thereafter and if I don't get a response from them today, I will post another complaint here and will call and make another complaint by phone.

Glad you're safe and yes he should practice better driving habits.

Now just imagine the other way around when that car runs the stop sign right out in front of that 80,000 lb vehicle. There's alot more of them stories. ;)

Yes glad you did not get hurt..My opinion take a chill pill! Just maybe he did not see you..maybe he sneezed and blinked and did not see you. You have no idea why this happened do you? You are going to try to ruin this drivers career over this. Come on cut the guy some slack. I am sure sometime in your life you have done something that could have been done safer? Ever hear the saying NO HARM NO FOUL?

Im glad no one was hurt, but instead of calling and telling on the driver why diidnt you go and try talking to the driver first. You have no idea what was happening inside of the cab of the truck. Just cause you were a little irratated and called the company, you could have gotten the driver fired. And if you saw everything you could have stopped or slowed down. Defensive driving is what they call it. NOT TRING TO DEFEND ANYBODY, JUST SAYIN

agreed....you have no clue what was happening in that truck and you're in such a rush to ruin someone's career over it? how about the 4 or 5 cars that cut me off or pulled out in front of me today with a gross weight of 77,800lbs? should I be calling the DMV to report each and every one of them or flagging down the first state trooper I see with their license plate number because they almost killed me and themselves?

you had the advantage of time to react and having a much lighter vehicle that could stop in time. get over it. i have to on a daily basis because 75% of those of you in cars have no clue how to handle yourself around a big truck.

I agree with everyone in this post. How many times have you cut off the breaking room of a semi? I usually gross out between 79000 and 79600 on a daily basis. And on a daily basis someone thinks that the room between my truck and the person in front of me is for them to come in. The people that drive small cars need to understand that t sure takes a lot longer for us to stop than them. I understand that you are and at him for making you brake your car and avoid him. But you need to understand we do it on a daily basis because of people driving four wheelers.

I think you should report it. Fact of the matter is that nobody got hurt, perhaps this could help the driver learn. Im sure its not the popular choice, but the matter needs to be addressed before something bad happens

    captw900 and ECU51 Thank this.
