Got to make a last minute trip and headed tomorrow (Saturday) from CA up through Oregon to Washington and back for the first time. I have everything to run interstate, but just realized I don't have OR & WA on my IRP cab card.
Assuming I just need individual trip permits then...plus is there something else for Oregon as well?
More importantly, can I get those permits at the point of entry for each state? Didn't have any luck finding an online service that issues them on the spot and I am sure the DOT offices are open ALL weekend RIGHT????
Last Minute Trip to OR & WA...HELP!

Well for OR u need their permit which is valid for a year. I was told by my company to get permit be4 I cross the border cause its too expensive to get it in OR. But u can buy one at P/E

Yeah, something goofy about Or. If you enter WITHOUT necessary permits, they get you good. You can purchase "on line" I believe.

You will also need an OR weight ticket or some crap. My company gave me one but I've never gone there.

get the Oregon permit before you cross into Oregon. They will fine you for not having one. When you cross the scales in Oregon hold the permit up against the window so the scalemaster can see it. Otherwise they will pull you in.
