85% of what?...The full gross?
What about FSC?
What do yu pay out of your 15%?
What does the O/O pay out of their 85%? -
85% of what is paid on the load fsc and all.
-
Why do you need a percentage of the FSC? 100% of the fsc "should" go to who is paying for the fuel.Raiderfanatic Thanks this.
-
I don't believe you will get many owner operators if you take any of the FSC unless you plan to buy them fuel.
There are many other questions. Do you furnish authority, insurance and trailer? What do your loads pay? Do you haul direct freight or brokered freight?
Do you pay for base plates, insurance and fuel tax? What do you charge back to the owner out of these items? What other charges do you have? Do you charge trailer rent?libertasvelnex and Nycmex77 Thank this. -
the guy i drive for gives us 90% of gross and 100% fsc when fsc is paid. alot of our loads are flat rate plus we get 100% of charged for tarping
-
It really doesn't matter if it's flat rated or not, a number should be used for FSC that the truck gets 100% of.
-
exactly, very important. If they are true O/O's who have to furnish everything (fuel, authority, insurance, trailer, etc.) then 85% is too low. If they are O/O's leasing to you, then 85% would be reasonable, but they should still get the FSC 100% unless your supplying the fuel.

not all loads have a fuel surcharge, but our full time customers do have a surcharge which i get 100% of
some of what i haul is only 3 weeks or a month contract and the amount to haul it is calculated on the current fuel price
not the absolute best i know but it does work
