USX drivers...how's your day??

2 rows behind the bobtails. pulled in at 0315 and then went nextdoor to del at 1000 got back around 1200

 

I got sent to Augusta for an mt. That ruined any chance of getting a restart this weekend. I decided not to go all the way to Birmingham until tomorrow. I pulled into this Love's on 20 and it was nearly empty. Figured I might not get so lucky late at night in B'ham. Tomorrow I'll drive a whole hour and a half so I can be just down the road for my monday 0500 delivery.

 

Well, I'm finally finished with my training and waiting to upgrade. Had to greyhound from Markham to Irving. Now to wait for my son to get here. He was just here 2 days ago but got a load to springfield with his trainer. Now he's ready to upgrade test and then will have to bus ride here. It seems we both must be present to sign for a team truck.

This was my first chance to read everybody's happenings since last week. It'll be better once my son's here and I may use his computer to stay current with everything and everybody. I've been hoping to meet some of you, but haven't yet. Maybe soon.....

 

Sitting allot. Not enough miles due to doing nothing. I have asked. I even had the solo fleet ops director call me after he saw a post on FB's US xpress Drivers page saying that I am not getting enough miles. Right away my FM's super gets on the line with him and they route me somewhere so quickly it makes your head spin. He told me he would stick with me for the next couple of weeks and make sure I am getting the miles I deserve. Well, still waiting, so to speak. I have called him back twice with no response. I have talked to my FM about it as well. Tomorrow I am heading back up north out of Miami. Been here since 1100 on Fri. It is now 1634 on Sun. What does that tell you? Anyway, I want to be proactive with this and not step on toes or piss anybody off. So, tomorrow I have a decent run, 400+ miles. After that, we'll see.

 

Enjoyed the race on sirious today, sitting at the Loves in Houston at exit 50 off I-45...beautiful day..... deliver in morning 8miles away....God is Great!

 

stuck in laredo waiting for someone to get the bol right, the guard has what we need but will not give it to us, said they need to keep that copy and that copy IS THE BOL all they will give us is a potocopy of a hand writen blank bol, no bol #, no piece count, no weight, no seal#

WoW,,I know you have more exp than I Flood, so I will not even ask if your crazy....LOL I guess if the guard signs his name to it, puts times down, you put all the info on it that should be there, the rest is up to USX. I can understand your frustration though brother....

 

Musicgal, I hope it turns out all right. I can't imagine getting my tandems stuck.

If anybody is in Irving please let me know. I'm here to upgrade to a Co truck and hope they're not going to make me wait until my son is here to begin loading my baggage on the truck.
