Sure it can... right after you take the test. And probably shell out for another background check to make sure in the last couple of months you didn't turn terrorist on us.

    Hey Iron Pony!

Just wanted to stop in and say hello! Have not been following anything on here for quite a while. Glad to see things are still going well.
Hard to believe it has been 1.5 years since I started this adventure!

    God Bless!

    Jim

What kind of money (take home) per week is a company and/or lease operator trainer making? Which is the better way to go.

If you have to ask the question, company is better for you. Study as much as you can while you are driving as a company driver. Talk to a hundred or so lease operators and learn as much as possible from them. Then, the answer to your question will become obvious to you, and you will know which way is best for you!

    hey ironpony,
Im interested in driving for Prime. Could you give me some information on what kind of Freightliner I would be driving as a company driver? Does Prime have e-logs? Thanks George

Yes to E-logs. Pete's and Freightliners are mostly lightweights for company drivers.

Depends on the division (reefer, flat, tanker) and whether you're company or not. Light weight tractors are mostly on the company side.

On the Freightliner side, its mostly Cascadias these days, although there are still some Centuries running around and a few midroof Columbias (they're a Light Weight).

Pete 387s and midroof 386's (LW) as well as 587s.

There are some KWs - I've seen the full-sized condos, and I'll bet you have to order them on a lease agreement. I've heard rumor there is a LW Kenny too - haven't seen one.

International... there are some 9400 LWs and Prostar LWs.

There is a lw kw. I sat in it. Key was in the ignition, brand new 2012. Nice truck, but really small up front
