I hope I have the right section to post this up if not please move to appropriate location.
Long story short I recently bought a reefer cargo van and I need some information on how do you go about making a contract as an independent owner for produce hotshots. I've been delivering for a couple of years and it's time for me to branch out on my own.
I already have commercial vehicle insurance and working on my business insurance or whatever they call it as my next insurance policy.
For example lets say you have mechanical failures or for whatever reason you can't keep the produce at a certain temperature, because the unit broke down, or it's too hot outside and the unit struggles to keep the appropriate temperature and the produce gets damaged, how do you go about in protecting yourself from a lawsuit.
So many questions, but I'll type them down as soon as I think about them.
Or if anybody has any information to share to get me on the right track please do so, I will highly appreciate any feedback.
Please p.m. me if you wish not to post information on this thread.
Thanks For Reading.
