    Hello,

I ran to a problem reinstalling flow control valve ( fuel recirculation ) which is located on a driver side of the engine below air compressor all the way on the bottom. On a fuel pump there is a IN from primary fuel filter and OUT to secondary fuel filter, there is also a steel line bend few times that comes out in the middle of fuel pump and it goes down to the flow control valve and then it goes to secondary fuel filter assembly. My engine is C15 MBN single turbo.

My problem: I had a leek from this valve but I had no idea when I took it off that it is not a regular straight through connector. Now I don't now which way it supposed be connected. Valve has spring and pin inside I believe to control the flow from pump, but not 100% sure, it also has O-ring on one side. There is also a clip that goes around it with a bolt to attach to a engine so it won't get loose. If anyone can help or tell me which way it needs to be connected I would really appreciated!

I also asked CAT and they had no idea! What a service!
Thanks in Advance for any help.

Note: I have installed it back the way that line from a fuel pump can close the other side of the valve to block the fuel flow to the secendary fuel filter assembly and truck works. I have not installed it other way but still not sure of the consequences that might happen from it.
