Well I guess my driving career is over. I got hurt back in Febuary of 2009. Got well went to work for YRC Glenmoore for a while rehurt my shoulder. About a year later I had to resign. Because of my injury. I checked my DAC report they gave me a satisfactory report. But they also, woulld you rehire they put no rehire. Even though I gave a written notice and quit. I just wonder how it would affect me if I ever tried to go back to driving if I ever got well. Hire Right said I had a good report. tdriver629@charter.net

    I wouldn't worry about it,
Even with the terminations and no rehires on mine it hasn't hurt me. I've only been turned down twice. It might stop some companies from hiring you but, you are by no means done for as far as driving.(side note) In 94 i injured my back and was told i would never make it back to work(doctors)i was on workers comp for over a year. I made it back so can you. GOOD LUCK GET WELL SOON

You probably got the DNR due to your injury. Did you file for workmans comp?

No I did not file workers comp against them. My previous employer is where I got hurt at. It is discouraging. I want to go back to driving. And I have a good record and good work history ,The doctor said I could get my strenght back in my arm. And I do want to go back to driving but I do not want nothing hurting me. On my record I will proably dispute it.

The DNR will only hurt you if you want to go back to your previous employer. My guess is that your injury is why they placed the DNR on your DAC, but if I were you I'd call the employer and ask.

A DNR will not end a career. I have a few DNR's and I'm driving for a mainstream OTR carrier. Just be honest on your application.

Well I disputed it on my dac report. Because i faxed them a copy of my resignation. And my doctors note explaining why I could not return to work. What more could they ask for . Everything else they put on there was good about me. No accidents no drug or alchol report work was satisfactory.
