Truck stops, Route 30 in Pennslyvania ...

Yeah and the truckstop that was @ routes 222 & 322 in Ephrata across
From the Walmart has been torn down,not sure if it's going 2 be rebuilt
Or not!

 

Drove past the ole Chuck stop on route 41 back on Friday morning and it has reopened under a new name. It's now called the "Route 41 Diner"bur the fuel / gas station is still closed but you can still park there.

 

They are not rebuilding the one in Ephrata, knocked it down to put up a strip mall

 

Do they let trucks park at the Walmart mentioned above, at 322/222 in Ephrata???

I know some don't allow it.

Martins Trailside Express....anyone ever been there? It's on 322, near New Holland, PA.

 

That place on 41 has parking but they shoo you away if you don't eat in the resturaunt.

Walmart in Ephrata is "truck unfriendly" so is the one in Temple PA both off 222.
The good news is They've started work on that new plaza that used to be a Citgo and they've put up new fuel islands already. So it looks like it's going to be a gas station/convienence store and not a strip mall. So the posiblity of it being a T/S isn't completely dead yet. (Hopefully it'll become a Sheetz with truck parking. The one down the road in Brownstown is swamped with trucks most of the time, maybe they'll take the hint.)

Trailside in East Earl is great,,, but let's keep that a secret.

There's parking behind Jenny's diner off 30 just east of Lancaster, and there's a small T/S across the street about a mile further east. (probably only about 6-8 slots though)

 

^^^^^This seems to be the case for the area. Small places to stop at random, just need to keep a look out.
