I mean REALLY. Verification by phone is the most unreliable method to use. Hell, I'll give you a number in London UK to call, He will tell you I am a brain surgeon, it's my brother but who cares to check.

 

Imagine that! Maveric says they won't hire you because you cannot prove you worked last year. Most credible companies will tell you the same thing.

Hell, you could have been in prison for the entire year, or sitting on your rear, receiving welfare. Trucking companies aren't about to hire people that cannot prove what they did a year ago.

 

work history is very important for most of these companies, quitting and doing nothing for over 30 days and/or being on welfare until your benefits run out is an automatic disqualification at most any of these employers.

i quit for around a year at one point,and i was without a job for most of that period,but i was able to show that i was taking college courses, without that it would of been hard for me to find a job. both of my jobs since then have REQUIRED my college transcripts,to validate that i was infact doing something during that period.

pulling the discrimination card is right up there with pulling out the race card,its easy to do, everyone claims its happened to them, but, can you prove it actually happend?

in this case,obviously not...
