Still unanswered...WHY are there less trucks out there, not only at the truck stops but on the road too! Is it the bad economy? Or the extra added law enforcement with the csa 2010? Last nite I parked at the loves (previously fly j) in tacoma wa....at 2am there was dxactly 12 open spaces. Ive just been noticing this as of the beginning of this year....personally, I think csa is in full swing..

To add another factor. I have seen England and others refer trailers on rail cars. Piggy-backs are making a comeback.

    You've been-----\/\/\/\-----Thunderstruck!!!

JB Hunt has about 6000 trucks and they have taken out alot of them, backing into them, running into them on the highway, so instead of being on the road, they are in the shop being fixed.

I think werner just added the "multi-modal" division to their fleet. Schneider, england, also have the containers, pulling em on the trains n stuff. Jb does about 90% of their customers freight like that, on trains, wich in turn illiminates the otr division all together. Most of the stuff I pull has an order date a whole month in advance on the b.o.l.s

Yeah...England opened the "intermodal" stuff about 4 years ago, JB almost completely went regional/local can work about 7 years back. Didn't know Werner was getting into that...but up there, Interstate is trying to get involved in the "intermodal" section....not doing real well so far, but with the change of ownership and the new owners being big in multi-continental shipping...shouldn't be very long before Interstate has a solid grasp on the group.

Well, thats just 12000 pos on the road, and no, I would never, never, never drive for that company, your on here talking about other companies being bad, so far you have drove for the worst bottom feeders in the industry, maybe you need to google something.

Google trucks that don't look like, run like and smell like ####e. and you do know what jb hunt stands for right ?

I live just off of a 2 lane street that trucks go down and am seeing just as many every day as I have been seeing since I moved in here on July 1, 2001.
