I would put my money on that the overheads was set incorrectly or they didnt tighten up correctly and the adjustment has changed.

broken rocker shaft.

Check for broken rocker shaft bolts. You can't tell if they are broke unless you pull the vva head. It is very common on those and they have updated bolts to cure this issue.

If it is that noisy don't take any chances it can destroy CAM. Put your ear on the valve covers and identify which set of cylinders, and pull valve cover to make sure an adjusting screw didn't come loose or break.

Isn't this the series with breaking jake housing studs?

this could be but why would it make noise then not make noise with no load? thank you for the help guy's i'm pullin my hair out!

I had a problem like that a couple months ago. Only made a noise when I was making it pull, nothin going down hill or just coasting. Turned out it was a nut from the cat brake came out and was riding on the rocker arms.
But if your the first owner and never had a problem with the hold down bolts I would bet thats your problem. -
The injector has a spring under the plunger that I have seen break and cause the same noise. Visually look at the spring on the injector to see if one has broken. It will cause all of your symptoms.
