Really? The 70's are over?
I'd better get rid of my 8 track tapes then!
You keep thinkin' the O/O's are going broke....The real ones aren't but the L/O's and shoestring operations are in many cases.
I've spent $20,000 this year on my truck and I'm still in pretty good shape moneywise.
OK man....You're gonna have to make up your mind here!
Are we going broke or not? I can't stand the suspense!
Try $250,000 plus....That's closer to my gross last year.
I wear nice clothes and take a shower every day and sometime I take two, Like today...I usually get coment on how nice I smell because I wear a little cologne after I shower.
People who are slobs are gonna be slobs whether they're in a truck or not.
So what?
I have NO respect for drivers that are filthy slobs and I usually won't even speak to them unless I have to for some reason...

Two reasons, one to avoid the sound of a reefer running and second because it is 0200 and there is that one space left and you need it and are lined up for it. Seeing as how it is late backing out will not be much of a problem after many have left and your leaving at around 1100.

I don't travel I-5 but do run Chicago to the west and I haven't seen empty truck stops, I did notice that late at night there may be a few open parking spots which I never saw when I was running east.

And,I was going to start a thread asking why they are all so full?
Really, the other morning I was going to do a "quick stop" at the Petro in North Little Rock, and I could barely find a cow path to get out of there.
Maybe no one wants to go to California;I know this poster doesn't..
