I drove for #5 for eight weeks without seeing the house. Soon as they got me a load to Cedar Rapids, IA. I delivered it.....parked the truck at the terminal there.....and told the wife to come get me.
The following Monday, my dispatcher "Micheal" called and asked if I was ready to go back out.
My responce: "Who is this, and why you calling me?"
That is my only experience with any of the "Big 10". -
I worked for #4 for almost 7 years. When I left they had doubled revenue by gobbling up other carriers. Since I have left they have doubled it agian by doing the same.
-
I agree with that.
I'm just making the point that you can't expect to start out with a good company.
And everytime this guy jumps ship, he makes it harder on himself.
Conservative to the Bone.misterG Thanks this. -
On top of those 10, he also says he works for Heartland.
Dude, how many carriers have you worked for?

I started with Maverick and they are far from a starter company. I have had zero issues. They treat me better than many of the non trucking companies that I have worked for. -
I believe enough to where he's been blackballed and now taking his frustration out on the forum. He's trying to preach to us what he couldn't do. Maybe, and I'm just guessing here, that the last carrier he worked for put a bad report on his DAC and now he's trying to be a know-it-all super trucker.Corporal_Clegg Thanks this.

Keep in mind, the OP said he has worked for all of the "Top Ten" companies. Perhaps this is just a MINIMUM. Maybe he's worked for more.
