Want to do away with factory antenna setup and run a single on d/s.I am having a hard time getting good swr's with my wilson2000's.Anyone using a single on newer model pete with the body mounted mirror's?I can't figure the best way to route coax without pinching it in door and I would need to have coax with no pl259 to pass through mirror tubes into cab.I've always had better swr's with a single(and much easier to tune) it is a company truck so I'm kind of stuck here.thx.donnie.

Is it a long hood? My w9 I ran an 18' coax from radio across top of window around top of drivers door down by seat belt rig on the floor forward about 6" drilled a hole in the floor zip tied along quall com wiring to back of truck up to the center hand rail to my antenna my tip is at 14'home works great looks nice neat if you do a clean job and leave hardware when you leave or change trucks they wont say a word. Look at the hack job they do on a truck putting in sat systems the trade in value is not gonna be comprised on a 3/8ths hole

Also make sure you have a good coax and dont pinch the cable, 18' is the normal length required
