    O.k.....I'm confused. Are you a trucker with 2 years experience like your profile says?

    If you have been with your current company for 6 years....did you dispatch for 4 years, or something else for the company?

    I just don't get it. Do you need to update your profile to 6 years as a 'trucker'. Help me out here.
    Not putting you down or calling you a liar....just doesn't add up for the numbers I am given to work with.

    I just never updated my profile,(i did now) I just think it's funny someone would have that many jobs in just a couple of years. Most of the time you can just do the work and keep your nose clean, and something better will come along. Yes I drive I left otr to go local so I could help out my mother who was dying of cancer. I am thinking about going back on the road because I really like the view, most of the time.

    :biggrin_2554: Okay let me try to make sense of what you are talking about;
    1.Supposedly you have had 10 jobs(dont know the time frame) but 10 jobs with 10 different carriers,so 10 different people have TAKEN A CHANCE/RISK on you
    (DUDE! you have had 10 jobs,most people in the USA would kill to have at least one right now)
    (also you never said if you were fired from any,but your comment"employ you at will",makes me believe that you have told"that your services are no longer required here")

    2.Owners,Shareholders,etc.. they risk their own capitol(money) on people like you(are you risking any of yours?)

    3.SLAVEBOY? Oh i like when drivers try to claim this status(might want to refer to my#1 point before you use ur term here,last time i looked there was no one putting schackles on you or anyone else,again refer to #1 YOU HAVE HAD 10 JOBS!!!

    4.Oh yes the NO'sas in No Union,no pension,no legal rep,,well i hate to say it but AGAIN look to my #1 point,,you chose to drive for all 10 of them

    So if I think I deserve to make a profit beyond taxes, child support, and insurance premiums, I'm a bad employee? I can't seem to get it through the skulls of the people I work for that I need to gross close to $1000/wk just to keep my nose above water. I'm not even asking for the whole head. Moral of the story is: With freight wavering all over the place, it's impossible to make a living out of this mess anymore. I used to love this job, now I HATE it.

    Now lets get this clear,,,you expect(or it sounds DEMAND) a employer to pay you based on your bills:biggrin_2554:

    NO! ,the Moral or your pathetic story is "Live within your means",work WITH the company,straighten out you personal finances,and get your head above water,its not an employers responsibility to do this,they just provide an avenue for you to make revenue

    you may have worked for the ten largest companies--but they in no way are among the top ten in anything other than size--just cause they are big and flashy doesnt mean a thing--look for the small companys---they are much better to work for

    Read or listen to the News much Stoney? USA is in MUCH worse shape financially than Europe. And the Euro may be in trouble....but nowhere NEAR how bad the Dollar is doing.

    But enough Politics.
