It has never happened to us but if you fuel at someplace other than your schedualed fuel stop it is a $25 charge. All you have to do is call the fuel department and get authorization before you fuel for this not to happen. We change our fuel stops all the time to make sure we get bulk DEF. I refuse to haul boxes of DEF

We got hit once for $25 when our pro # got changed in the middle of a trip. We had already fueled under the original pro, but when it changed somehow fuel couldn't see our old fuel solution anymore. They had me speak to a supervisor and she straightened it out.

Sheepdog, about the curtains, we just got the generic ones at the truck stop. They work fine. If you ever have to change to a different truck you will want to take them with you.

Still would like to know how much breakdown pay is. Anyone know? We will be sitting 3 days as of tomorrow. Thanks.

Sheepdog, one of the Volvo's I had with USX had the rail for the window curtains but the curtains were missing. I asked a fellow in the parts dept at Irving if I could get a set to replace the missing ones. He had to order them, took a little while before I came through again, but when I did they were waiting for me...NO CHARGE.

Hope the training/teaming is going well for you and HD.

Difference is, the Cascadias have the slot but no rails in them. I doubt USX would springe for the whole setup

Get the curtains at Pilot for about $30.....take the elastic cord out, sew the hooks back on, and then you can hook one end in the slot in front (crisscrossing them) and hook the other end on the seat belt thing.....works really good for me.

Had a 2010 Cascadia for awhile, don't recall the curtain setup on it but they worked fine. The first Volvo I had, was in fact, missing a rail on one side. The Irving Parts Shop (located in the tire bay) gave me a replacement rail and the Maintenance Shop installed it for me.

The main point here is: it never hurts to ask.

Thanks for the headsup on the Cascadia's Craig... I will remember that, I thought my Cascadia was the only one that had the rail missing....

Just a heads up for any you going to the TA at Vero Beach FL, they do not have bulk DEF. You have to buy the case. I found this out when I was in the checkout line and saw a CCC driver buying a case. Manager said 30 TA's were supposed to get it but was unsure if Vero was on that list.
