Yup. From this point on, you just send them money!

I'm sorry. My daughter was here. I'll return it in the morning.

They tend to take what's available. I hang my curtins up over the windows so they think someone may be sleeping. Never bother me.
-
Ok... I'll try that trick!

I've been on the truck with my husband for 3 yrs now, the last year as a co-driver and this is the first I have heard of the 'I-10 winter dispatch program'. I do know that as a new driver, you can't afford to be choosy
about where you will and will not go or you will find yourself sitting at a truck stop without any load. After you have established yourself as a dependable river, you can begin to get a little more selective, but I would advise not to 'push it'. If you 'tick off' one of the planners then you are major trouble when you get into his/her area, you may find yourself sitting and waiting for a while. As another driver mentioned, Stevens does not want you driving outside of your 'comfort zone', you just find the nearest Safe Haven, park, then notify the Safety Dept. Good Luck tinabell13,
we need more female drivers.

If you are a company driver, they have every right to use your (their) truck whenever they wish. The only way to get around it is to sign on Alliance or become an O/O. If they 'borrow' it then, you talk to the guys in the leasing office.

Congrats buddy. Good job.
-
45 mins, yeah right! After this much time apart I give you 5! -
Another advantage of being a lease operator only the shop steels the truck when your not looking.
Rolling east today and got the truck washed and washed and washed some more. Looks like more of the same tomorrow headed to pittsburg for my first drop on friday.
Congrats on now being a CDL holder now the actual learning can begin.
And a reminder today that driving conditions are changing. A CRST jackniffed in the median and a JBS intermoldel rOlled on an on ramp.
Now a qustion. Do you other leasers run the toll roads across indiana and ohio or drop down? And why?
