I noticed an ad in my local newspaper today, The Register Guard in Eugene, OR. It was a Swift Transportation ad looking for 20 drivers with CDL class A licenses and it was for short haul that pays $14 an hour. What type of route would this be?

That's probably local stuff done near a terminal, like sort-and-segregate loads that would tie a long haul driver up for hours.
