Picked up at Reed City, MI this morning and just delivered to Lebenon, IN

Picking up in Washington, IN in the morning for a drop and hook in Bridgewater, VA

By now you know it's in Western Mass, near UMass Amherst. Been there once, long ago, to visit Polly at Smith College. Ah...Polly, pretty Polly.

 

C&S Wholesale Grocers. C&S is a chain of grocery warehouses all over the country, but mainly in the northeast, that supply smaller grocery store chains, and independent stores.

 

Did you by chance travel on I-96 this afternoon (Tuesday)? It's a pretty convenient connection between 131 and I-65 in Indiana. If so, your truck passed by my office. I don't often see Prime trucks on I-96, so when they do, they stand out.

 

On I70E heading for Indiana. DD, know way too much about shingles lol This is an easy load.... no tarps, no chains. Just strap n go, with edge protection

 

In Roanoke delivering to Salem (Kroger) at 0300 then down to Athens, TN and The Bargain Barn! 3 Pallets of Grape Juice that expires on the 18th. BOL actually says "FOR LIQIDATION / RAPID SALE" Maybe they'll take the three pallets off early. Headed home after the weekend. Anyone stopping in Lake Station or Gary, IN give me a shout and I'll buy ya a cup of coffee or run ya up to the Walmart.

almost to dfw with fed ex load. cutting close on time. lost an hour at a ts in miss for fuel. but it was cheap at least

 

Just checked all the fuel prices on I20 thru MS, and all are within 3 cents of each other. 3 cents on what would be at most a 150 gallon fill is $4.50.

There are certain truckstops I won't stop at that I know always have the cheap fuel (TA in Troutville, VA I'm talking bout you!), to go somewhere a little more expensive. Delivering a load an hour earlier, or having a break start/end an hour earlier is well worth a couple of bucks to me.

Just something to think about.
