    i saw a help wanted ad for this company,they seem to be a temp agency that has contract work,they claim to pay 16-17$ /hr,local work. the lady i talked to said they cant guarantee full time work,but even so it doesnt seem too bad because of the hourly rate.

    i only have a couple bills,and i have tenants to cover mortgage.

    anyone have experience with them? any info appreciated

    Not sure about this company or any other temp company that only provide trucking jobs,but I apply to a company just like the one your asking about and after little homework I learn not only they charge the trucking company a fee they also take a % cut out of your paycheck.So just an FYI..:yes2557:

    Be wary of Road Dog. The recruiters lie, then after you begin working with them, what they told you, you would be earning and what you do earn or completely different. No one will return your call for days to discuss it. Be careful... They LIE!!

    Temp companies do not take a percentage of the employees money. The client company is the one who pays the temp company. The only kind of company that charges the employee is a head hunter who specifically goes to companies and looks for them a job. With this, the employee pays a fee. So, when you work for a temp company, if your pay is 10.00 per hour, that's what you get paid.

    If temps don't shave how do they make money? It is better to hire into a Co. direct. If they don't hire direct than it is usually seasonal drivers they are after. But hell some like doing different stuff frequently I guess.

    He is absolutely CORRECT, I've been helping a friend who did some work for them, and I was there when he 1st spoke to them, they really reamed his back-side but good.
