This is pissin me off. Got the bunk a/c fixed, everything works good goin down the road, but if i try to run it idleing after a few minutes both the dash and bunk blow hot air, WTF?

 

Well I am going to be backing out of JCT.

CRST counter offered with more percentage and 6 months off my payments.
Also there putting me on a specialize fleet. So I am going to try to stay with them and if not might try JCT in the future. But I figure they have been good to me and the only reason why I was wanting to move was to be able to stay a solo. (crst is going away with the solo owner/op for the most part) but since there putting me on this specialize fleet to run solo I got to try it out.

Question for all current JCT drivers.
Twice I have been approved for hire there I have yet to set up an orientation date.
Here is why back in 2008 I aquired a copy of the lease and the spread sheet of pay and cost including all fixed expenses. Then I added in all of my non fixed expenses including taxes FICA medicare state taxes and personal medical insurance for me and my daughter. Now plugging in the rate of pay and Several different rates of FSC. I can not find away to not be in debt or even make 11,000$ at .92cpm. Please tell me how you are surviving or making any money.

By running a lot of miles and even then they are lucky to end up with .40 a mile going to their bank. The problem is they are going to electronic logs so they won't be able to do that anymore. Unless JCT starts paying more or drastically changes something the lease/ops there are going to be screwed. You are not going to run anywhere close to legal there on that lease and make good money.

My post wasn't to be a derogatory post I am actually looking for real information.
There might be something I am not seeing. Like are you Paying full price for fuel or do you get discounts. This is called research. I don't jump off a bridge in to 2' of water but if the water is 15 to 20 ft deep I might dive in head first.

 

It isn't bragging about my checks being more that is the reason I post here. It is so prospective drivers that are thinking about going there see that there is much better options available. I hope they realize before they go there to JCT and find out the hard way and go broke. With electronic logs they are not going to be able to run the miles that are required to make money like you guys used to be able to do. When I went I knew that as soon as JCT would have to go to elogs that I would have a hard time making money. I am just glad they sent me packing so I did not have to suffer financially. If it wouldn't have happened I wouldn't be where I am now.
