I've been sitting at a truck stop waiting to head in to the rcvr all weekend, and there is another JBS that has been here before I got here.

 

LOL!! I owe it all to you Hazmat!!! Just got another 1136 mile beef or pork load....I don't know, picking it up at GB and headed to Souderton, PA...

Hope J.B.S. doesn't throw any curve balls as I'd have to decline... ONLY have 8 hrs for tomorrow and 11 for the day after that....

 

OK so I sent my FM a message saying that I have been available all day with no load, She calls back and says I should have called her and told her I need a load! WTF (I tried but they never answer the phone!)

Why do we have a PTA? I thought it was to communicate to them when I would be available and for them to find me a load at that time!.........

I didnt know I had to call them and beg them to do thier job!

You're absolutely right!! I just had a conversation with a driver and another DM about this....

That is their job, to PRE-plan a load for us drivers, NOT plan us as we call....

 

Appreciate the heads up on the BEEF....Probably should have known that but guess it's the fact that as long as my trailer is full and I am moving, I don't care what's in it LOL!!!

BEEF, CHICKEN, PORK, SUGAR, HELL, AS LONG AS IT FITS I'M RUNNING IT!!

 

It happens EVERY Monday! It's like the place shuts down over the weekend so if your delivering on a Monday morning your S.O.L.!

I have had my PTA set since Sat night for today at noon and here I sit!

 

I delivered this morning at 09:00, had a preplan at 10:30. I have been running good. knock on wood. Picked up a chicken load out of Mt Pleasant, this has to be the fastest I have ever gotten out, took longer to check in and out with the guard.
Keep the shinny side up the drity side down.

 

Well I still have no load and now its too late for a load goin anywhere except Florida!

Left the Petro and came down to the Love's at exit 201 so I wouldn't have to pay to park!
