Hell why not.
Emergency vehicles have gotten where they wait until they are 50 from you to turn the sirens on. -
What???
Did Somebody say something?
Is this radio working? -
Sure why not-they need more bodies behind the wheel. Regulations werent about safety anyway, just a tool for control and revenue.
-
I have to type 10 characters, so my real reply is:
HUH? -
I guess they won't hear the crashing sounds when they hit something, what's next, blind drivers?
-
Why not?
We all have radio antennas...just turn them down to the ground and paint em red and white...they can be the "feel sticks" for staying in the lane!
Rollover the Original Thanks this. -
Alot of drivers have the stereo turned up or wear a head seat drowning out the surrounding sounds. What's the difference? People with a loss of one of their senses have extra ordinary use of their other senses. A deaf person can drive just fine. They see more than others.
-
I cant smell but I can see sheet.
-
I already know of at least 2 hearing impaired/deaf drivers already in trucking...
Not sure how they got the exemption though...
