mad my delivery of chocolate to Frito Lay this morning in Pulaski TN... then over to the Tennessean truck stop for a good breakfast, and it was under $10.00....
And I get the message again, that Steve, my DM, will not be in today... get this message 1 or 2 times a week... Feel sorry for the back up running two fleets...

Had to wait about an hour to be dispatched onto my preplan, murfreesboro to Houston... and get this a live load, with all these drop trailers... I guess I will never understand dispatch...

So setting here in the door, waiting for the loading appt time to roll around.

 

Picked up our load from the 'imprisoned' truck at the POE in St George yesterday afternoon. Had to take 4200 pounds off, and even with that, it left us at 79,400.
But we're legal, heading east. Made it to Rock Springs before shutting down, and now will repower this load in North Platte this evening. We just don't have the time to make it all the way to Cedar Falls.
Getting load bound for Carson, CA. This will get student's last mountains.
Eight days, all mountains, three zones, over 3200 miles. We're on a roll!
More snow appearing on the montain tops. All across 80 in Wyoming. The Wasatch in Utah... Had to use the heater last night for the first time.
Good thing is my mileage is hanging in there, despite the mountains and heavy loads.
Optihoohaw says I'm averaging 7.9. My numbers say it's closer to 7.3
But numbers are good. Not complaining.
Told my DM to look for a three pick produce load with three drops, once we're empty in LA. Need a good produce training load. Also gives us a chance to take a breath.
Anybody at the FJ in North Platte tonight, look us up.

 

mine is 590, but add on the apu, qc, pp, insurance and whatever else i'm at about $840/wk. plus fuel cost for a week, between 1300-1500mi/week depending on the loads, covers all my cost

 

Pueblo, CO...at the KW trying to get a coolant leak fixed. not too bad to wait 34hrs since i was low on hrs anyway, but that is up tomorrow morning...hopefully be ready by then

 

In mid Virginia tonight. Heading to Murfreesboro with this load, so I'm sure I'll be picking up there and heading to Texas.

Thank u guys for the info on the lease payments there! I'm with prime now and my truck alone is 984.00 pluss 70 a week for the Apu! This is my first lease and I thought it was kinda high but finding more and more it def is.

 

In jackson tn tonight. Headed to houston with short hours on the log book. Can make the thursday am appt just have to get up with the owls to do it. I will knock off 600 wed.

 

Still waiting for a trainer here at the yard, no prob for me, just really wanna get our there anymake someone some money, any takers.....lol. If you are on the yard I am the big white guy with blond hair and red gote sitting in front of the drivers lounge all day, introduce yourself. Wish all you drivers well, cross your fingers I get a dispatch. Keep em straight and rolling drivers!!!

 

Shouldn't you be sitting in Randells office? Every time I was waiting for a trainer, and it got down to a few of us that's where we all sat. You had to ask permission to leave the room.
