LadyK you gotta post some picts! You have a refrigerator on top of your bed and a microwave underneath it? I'm having a hard time picturing this. Where do you guys sleep? If you guys stop do you sleep in the same bed?
Sorry not wondering what your love life is just curious as to how you guys are running like that. My wife and I had some strange set ups in our trucks so this struck my curiosity.
We slept in separate bunks when we were stopped, mainly because we had a big doggie and my wife would sleep on the bottom with the pup and I slept on top. When we had a T2000 we had the memory foam mattresses and when you slept on the top bunk laying on your back your nose would literally be 2 inches from the ceiling. I'm not claustrophobic but that was pushing it! When we had our 9900 it had tons of space in it but no storage or cabinets. I had to "Macgyver" up all kinds of crap to keep our stuff in. Just like your fridge and microwave situation, I had to get creative to accommodate those items.

Yes Lady K post some pics was going to put a microwave in mine but wasn't sure where to put it. So straped to the top bunk would like to see how that is done not a bad idea since my top bunk is never used.
I also have a question about the bunk heater. The heater doesn't work when the key is in the on position. So if you have the opti idle on to keep your engine fluids at temp the bunk heater won't work. In the Prostar you could put it in the battery mode and take the key out but I can't do that with this one. So wondering if I'm missing something or can I not use the opti idle and the bunk heater at the same time. -
Any of you in the black Volvo I just passed on nb I-5?
-
what part of I-5? and just read that the gooberment is going to allow the first mexican truck to cross theborder friday and deliver in texas. personally this outrages me and i hate to think that truck drivers in america are gonna lose their job because someone from another country is going to deliver. hopefully something is done to stop this
SavageSam Thanks this. -
You know - we haven't tried the bunk heater & opti idle at the same time... just the opti idle. Haven't needed the bunk heater yet... I'll see what I can do about the picture of the MicroWave...

I'm going to open up a Mexican Truck Stop too! No toilets, just holes in the floor. Free burrito with fill-up! Can you imagine the truck accessories I will be selling?!
