glad to hear you're having good luck. A friend of mine has a '11 W900 with thew ISX. He has 100,000 miles on it and just had one of the DPF sensors go bad, but other than that he has had zero troubles with the urea system or anything else. He's been getting around 5.5mpg pulling a bullrack.
-
Trucker jay what kind of fuel mileage are you getting with your ISX??
-
Ya I got a freind who bought a 2010 389 he's geting that 5.5mpg to I am geting 6.4mpg with myn I haunt had any problems
-
A friend of mine picked up a new T700 with a 450 ISX & 13 speed in it about 6 months ago. He was shocked at the fuel mileage he was getting from day one, and it hasn't really gone down. He's getting anywhere from high 7's to mid-to-high 8's depending on the load & terrain. These new ISX motors really seem to have their act together.
SHC and The Challenger Thank this. -
Sorry I messed up on my fuel numbers that's the correct number for having a 300,000 pound load just a regular stepdeck load i get 7.0mpg ya they do have their acts together
-
How many miles are you getting out of a tank of Urea fluid?
Does that ISX15 pull good? -
Does the new cummins have that cummins/Scania colaberation high pressure fuel injection system yet ? Scania are using it here and the fuel returns are more than impressive, savage power too! It's a very impressive system
-
I can't rember about the urea but it pulls good somtimes fells like it's got more power then my old cat
-
Slightly older trucks here if you clamped the pipe coming out of the urea tank it stopped using it together and tricked the sensors into thinking it was getting urea because the tank stayed full, it's worth a try
