I dont believe there are any interstates in the US that are over a 6% grade. I may be wrong but Im also pretty sure you wont find them in PA. Offroad is a whole different ballgame. Been on logging roads that will make ya poo a little. In Canada they have some steep SOB's 8% is pretty common (on a majore highway) and they have steeper, 10 -12 percenters and I have been on several with 105,500 lbs on a super B train double.

There is not one grade I cannot handle. I fear no grade at all. I fear no mountain pass.

Vail pass. Add in snow and no trailer breaks. Was a fun run

I wasn't driving but riding with a friend before I had my license when we did a 10% up and down grade in the middle of nowhere PA. Had a huge sign for it a ways out so he stopped and called the place to make sure we were heading the right way. Guy keeps saying yeah it's just at the bottom of the hill, don't worry we get trucks here all the time. Well you know how that goes. Ends up being straight trucks only down there.

Find what in PA?? 6% grade? If you think we don't have 6% grades in PA you have never driven here. Bald knob mountain on route 30 is a 5 1/2 mile long 9% grade, Clearfield mountain 3mile 7%, Penn View mountain 2 mile 6%, There is a 2 mile 11% grade on route 160 coming into windber, PA, coming from the south, coming from the north it is a 1 mile 14% grade.

Nothing in PA grade wise that even raises an eyebrow. Come out west or go into Canada like I do and see some real grades with snow and ice on them that will make you squeeze up hard. Most people think cabbage patch is a bad, tough grade and really thats childs play
