    Usa truck has decided to let 106 people go ...these will all be non driver positions .. 3 people have already been let go from spartanburg terminal ... Seems usa is going to cut the payroll to generate much needed cash .. Not to long ago they did this and was right before the holidays as well .. Still not sure how the celadon situation is going to play out but will post info as I gather it ..

    Lol ...celadon bought nearly 7 percent of usa truck stock...filed a 13D and is seeking a meeting with usa truck management for a possible merger or more than likely a takeover

    Whats the story on Celadon? I see alot of their trucks down in Laredo. Never hear the drivers complain a whole lot.

    Well USA trucks problems have resulted from simply this...

    Bad management hiring anyone & everyone it appears from office staff to drivers.

    You hire bad workers, well like the old saying....

    You get what you pay for.

    Also from what it appears is that extremely bad mgt as well.

    Not sure how celadon is to work for but there are plenty of negative comments on here about them and for usa ...yes bad management is the primary killer of the company ....exactly right you get what you pay for ...and karma is an assured thing ...usa is done just not willing to say so lol

    Plenty of negative comments about Celadon...from drivers who no longer work for the company. The Celadon forum hasn't seen much action in a few weeks, unlike some trucking company forums that get posts/replies daily.

    i hired on as a regional driver and for 2 months it was ok (they could try a little harder w/ home time). after that they "dis-banded" my fleet, didn't tell me and then put me on OTR and expected me to like it. All done bye-bye USA.
