Awesome pictures and trip! I've been up to Prudhoe Bay, AK and Inuvik, NWT, Canada...though on my motorcycle, not a truck. I love that part of the world and can't wait to go back. Thanks for posting the pictures!

The Alcan is a great road to run. Had 22 trucks running Alberta to Alaska in the mid 70's. We had 1101 miles of gravel from MP 101 to Beaver Creek at MP 1202.
Today, the drive is great. Heck, you can run without chaining up.rollin coal and SHC Thank this. -

Thanks for the pics! Great! Makes me long for the days when I lived and drove in Alaska. Nothing like it.

I had the pleasure of being stationed at Ft Richardson in the 80's. Drove the Alcan up to get there in the spring. Drove back down in the middle of January. Both times it was gorgeous. Wasn't in a CMV though. I was in a Nissan Pathfinder. Lots of it was still dirt road back then. I would love to make that trip again.
