Anyone go to Flagler Technical Institute and drive for Crete?

On their website, Crete doesn't list FTI as one of their schools. It is a 320 hr course and the Crete terminal in Deland, Fl is close(45 min from my house). The class doesn't start until Jan though and our little small business isn't businessing(Wife has modest income but Xmas will suck). Question for the BEST career long term-Wait and go to FTI and will Crete hire or go to Central Refrigerated or one of the driving school companies and get 6 mon- 1 year driving then go Crete or local carrier? Some other third thing?
I have 10 years CDL B with firetrucks(professional and vollie) and will have combo, tanker and hazmat next week. Clean driving, employment and criminal record and ready to go to work yesterday. New to the threads(but have read many) and looking for advice. Thanks and Stay Safe.
