Thats what you get driving for pos england, your truck should never be in the hammer lane for any reason, if the truck you were trying to pass sped up and you couldn't get around him, thats proof right there your truck is garbage and food for thought, you better hope you don't meet that owner operator, he will kick your #####.
Don't hold up drivers who are making a real living at this, your company is doing nothing more than holding up production on America's highways. -
What an attitude.
So a speeding truck over the 65 mph speed limit has the right of way?
I wonder what the police think.
Sad.THBatMan8 and corneileous Thank this. -
The posted speed limit was 65 mph. If you cant drive the posted speed limit, take your license back to the cracker jack box you got it from. You dont own the highway because your truck isn't governed. If I need to pass another vehicle, I'm going to pass that vehicle. If you don't like it, bite me.
I'm trying to make a living also. You have no excuse to run me off the road. That kind of rekless behavior is what gets people killed. -
Lol.... I take it you're a failed leaser?THBatMan8 Thanks this.

You shouldn't be, you can't even run 65 much less 70 or higher. All you do is create a huge line behind you and if you do pass the other truck it will take 10 miles to do so. Find a company that has faster trucks or stay in the grandma lane. We get paid by the mile, not by the day like you guys must.
A train could make it faster to the west coast than you can, guess thats why there are more and more truck trailers on them. -
Sorry, but your mindset is flawed. If every truck drove off a bridge, would you follow? Like I said, you don't own the highway so don't act like you do. Your posts are making me like this 65 mph governor proposal on all trucks even more. You sound like the arse that almost killed me last night.

Pretty stupid statement...
I run the speed limit or pretty close to it all of the time...55, 65, 75 and 80 depending on where I am.
If I'm rapidly gaining on a 65 MPH roadblock in the right lane and just as I start to go around him he "jumps" in front of me...He's an idiot.
If however I'm in a 65 zone doing 80 and the same thing happens...I'm an idiot!
Back when the national speed limit in this country was 55 we all looked after each other and we pretty much all ignored the speed limit and that was OK with me.
But now the speed limits are 65, 70, 75 and 80 in most places and there is no reason to continue to ignore them.THBatMan8 and corneileous Thank this. -
Wow... That makes twice in one day I liked something you said. I gotta mark this on the calendar.

See? Even you can learn!
THBatMan8 Thanks this.
