Got a load of chicken out of Rogers AR. Late on the DLD so I'm sure I'll have to give it up before it gets to Cali. Just run like the wind until someone reads the Running Late message and decides to do something.

Yea I have a negative attitude about weekends and the way drivers are treated and ignored. It is an industry wide problem from talking with other drivers.

 

Dropped a repower load in Lorado Friday, picked up a full load of lettuce headed to Mass. Sitting in Knoxville right now taking my 10. I will get 3 zones and 1000 miles outta this load.....!!!! Loving the life thus far, have a great trainer, I really lucked out. Hoping to catch a load back west after this, Guy can dream right!!! Be well drivers!!!

Got a whole bunch of apps in now. Top choices are Roehl and Maverick. You can bet which company is not in my future

Anyone know what the process when changing your address on Texas license to a different Texas address with a commercial license...? Looking online, commercials must visit DPS and cant be done online. I tried calling DPS a couple days ago to find out what I would need but it's harder getting anyone on the phone at DPS than it is at Stevens.

 

Mistermino, you just go down to DPS and tell them you need to change your address on your DL. You will have to pay a 10.00 charge. They will give you a paper temporary and mail you a new Dl in about 2 weeks.
Takes longer waiting in line than it does to change the address.

 

Hey TLea, which Costco are you delivering to?? Hubby and I just rolled in to Morris with a load from Accomac, VA to deliver in the a.m. W/E crew tried to repower us in Indy with a 3-drop load to Jersey but it put us 1100lbs over gross. Our 'screen' specifies the max load we can haul, but no one seems to look at that.

but I am parked 23 miles away in ottawa where I ram out of hours yesterday... and don't really want to waste the time on the log book to just drive 30 minutes, then have to show a 30 minute post trip to keep compliance happy. and this load does not deliver until tuesday...

 

Dang, don't blame you there, was just hoping to finally meet someone off of here face-to-face. There's 5-6 other Steven's trucks here at the T/A as usual, I know at least 4 of us loaded out of the same place.

Are they at least giving you local delivery pay on top of your miles?
