I definitly will get it fixed right. The fuel gauge is the first thing I will not leave without it being fixed... Started the truck, once it finally started, n the gauge was on the first block, after 15 minutes of idling I was up to 1/4 tank... DA1 can attest to that fact (he was in the truck too lol) Im working on the pictures

i can attest i know the cascadias have a fuel gauge problem but ive never seen one do that the fuel gauge on my trainers truck would read full when you filled the tank but 5 miles down the road it would be on 3/4 of a tank

That may not be a problem with the gauge. I'm not 100% sure what they do as far as fuel in the trucks between drivers, but if they only put a little bit of fuel in one side of the truck, and it was in the tank that doesn't have the gauge sending unit, it would have shown lower than the actual fuel level. Then once you started it, there is a valve that equals the fuel between the tanks, and if it transferred fuel from the tank without the sending unit, to the tank with the sending unit, it would appear as if the fuel level had gone up.

Ill keep that in mind Sazook. I want to make sure it works properly before I leave out of here with it. It really doesnt have anything wrong with it. Is there anyway I can check to see if this is whats goin on? The truck just came out from being a lease truck. Says so on the paper I got.

When my truck sits for a couple days I get a weird fuel level. After about a half hour its normal.

Now, it doesn't neccessarily happen everytime. But I gives me pause.

The first time I was convinced someone had stolen fuel while I was home. Imagine my suprise the gauge was were it was supposed to be by the time I was pulling into the pumps.

I tend to notice if half a tank goes missing, and suddenly re-appears 30 minutes later.

Again, only after sitting a few days.
