    HAHA!!!

Actually, you are the one I think who has been misunderstood most of the time. I think folks think you are seriously throwing barbs out there, I'm pretty sure most of what you post is in jest. You seem to have the same sick sense of humor I have (learned it in the Corps).

Some people say they stopped hiring out of Florida, but some people will say they are in orientation coming out of florida. You just have to call recruiting to see if they are or not. I just relayed with a guy who lives in Miami. He took the load I had, and itHad 2 stops one in Orlando, and 1 in Miami. We have plenty of loads going to florida especially out of the Louisville plant. When I was signing the sheet all but 1 of the JBS loads were going to Florida.

Home Time is like most trucking companies. You can be there on the money. Or you can be there 2 or 3 days b4 or after. I Never had a problem with them rushing me back to work after home time. Maybe the reason they don't hire out of Florida is because they have a boat load of drivers who live there, and maybe are having hard times getting them in and out. Just call recruiting 2 see bro.

I know that when I was with Transam, the fuel program sucked. Sometimes, we were doing 2 fuel stops a day AND it would take you OOR sometimes for the cheapest fuel. As I had it explained to me, its not only looking for the closest place they have contracts with, but it was also trying to even the fuel tax for the states. Hated having to get 50 gals and then the next fuel stop was so close, 35 was all you could get in.

Sure hope yours works better and is prgrammed by someone with a little sense.

When I was driving for Stevens they are big on the fuel program, called Opti-Stop. It was mandatory for company drivers. L/O could fuel when and where they wanted, but they were footing the bill. I always used the fuel solutions except if there were issues with extended waiting using up fuel etc. A call to the fuel dept and they would send you somewhere closes to put fuel if needed. I never ran into too many problems with oor as the fuel stops were builtinto the routing you got paid on. Once in a great while they would send you off a few miles but only for a great deal. Not to just put 50 gals. Sometimes they had you do that on a long run, but I just used that as one of my scheduled stops/breaks. They did have some advantages in being so big they can negotiate big discounts with all the brands, Loves gave them the biggest so we did a lot of our fueling there.
