PDI tune was worth about .8 mpgs. The manifold and mufflers are worth few tenths. You will get yout money back for the tune in just a few months. Then its money in your pocket not to metion how much better it will run. If you get a tune your only regret will be waiting as long as did to get it. Get ahold of Mr Haney have him help you chose the right tune for you and then buy through him. You wont be disappointed.

wasn't sure if the qualcomm was right or not but I thought it was pretty close if I fill my tanks up with around 275-280 of fuel I get close to 2000 miles on them.. so that's why I was around the 7 mark but I could be wrong.. and yes that dam overspeed is annoying as hell..

stark u need to put pen to paper when u fuel up. it will give u a more real world number on what ur fuel mileage is.

i do have a set of pittsburg power straight flow mufflers on the truck but thats the only thing ive done to it so far. i really like to be up in the 6s for mpg. id be real happy if a 6 was a bad mpg day.

One time since the tune I've seen numbers in the 5s (not counting when the cac was bad). That was a trip all the way down through Wv when I was fighting the clock to get there to get unloaded. 70mph speed limit that I viewed as a suggestion and heavy load of drill pipe going up and down the hills of 79 it was in the low 5s.
My suggestion is get a tune done asap. If you ever have to take the exhaust manifold off then I would put a PDI unit in its place.SHC Thanks this. -
Not sure what you are running (system or choice) but if you stop at any SNI shop, they can give you the 800# to call the tech support who will turn that all off on your qualcomm. That was the 1st thing I did with mine, but you lose the MPG tracker, but it didn't match up with my actual pump numbers anyways, so i didn't care.

i just got a Bully Dog and had them create me a custom tune ot change my MBN to a 6NZ and so far I have only traveled 700 miles this week, but avg went up to 7.8mpg from the 6.8mpg I was getting, but only time will tell. I too plan on getting a PDI manifold and a BW turbo by March
rollin coal Thanks this. -
Great to hear they got it figured out for you. Do you happen to know how much power that custom tune added? Just wondering if they gave you a high power flash or just added some timing and didn't add much power.

running choice, thanks for the info I will def give them a call cause those stupid overspeed things get annoying after awhile considering I am not company truck I can go faster then 60
