OK Kroger at Salem, VA is definitely on my unfavorite list! FOUR hours after appt time I got a door. So I woke up, put the thing in the door, then tried to sleep while they unloaded me. Done, out of the door and parked on the street by the gate (a little O/N pkg there available) for a little nap before leaving for Shelby, NC. Picking up a PPG load going to Mineral Wells, TX. Sazook, we're closing in on each other if you're still in the Metroplex!

JCW picked up a load from where he dropped in Murfreesboro, TN headed to Ochelata, OK. Probably take his 34 while he's here. He's slamming on his 70 due to some minor directional malfunctions. He'll get enough back at midnight to get this load to OK. He will stop in Stanton, TN tonight, to avoid stopping in West Memphis, AR.

"Minor directional malfunctions" is a very nice way to explain it! :)

Usually when I'm at that Kroger, I'm in a door well before my appt time. Perhaps they had a bad day with staffing or something. Anyways, I'm about to head up to DFW to grab the same load I did 2 weeks ago today. From there to Newark pulling a dry van. Winter Storm Watches and Warnings up from Roanoke, VA all the way up into New Jersey.

78 Truckstop on US78 in Hickory Flat MS. Mighty unbusy. That's not necessarily a bad thing!

Snow in the mid-Atlantic up to the NorEast? Heh! I'm going to Florida! :biggrin_25519:

You're going back to DFW to get the same load you had two weeks ago? Did they leave it for you or did you loose it along the way? :biggrin_25519:

Well I am down on I-20 and you will be up on I-30/40/81, so I guess we won't pass each other! Be safe. I am glad I just left that area!
