I pulled up to the fuel island in the Pilot truck stop on Exit 93 in Stonington Ct last night, looked over to the next pump and saw a"driver" in a ratty old ex Yellow Freight day cab sleeping. After fueling and pulling off the island,I went inside,I came out 15 minutes later, and he was waking up.
A first for me !

Scarey as hell. -
And so you didn't BANG on his door , as you were walking inside? As well did you tell any one in the store. ?

I already had my fight for the week, and they were too busy

Truck stops need to enlarge the parking lots. Anymore there just isn't enough parking out here. Darn driver should have pulled into the grass and took his nap.... lol... It is very scary.
-
I seen this alot lately, Even when there are plenty of spots available, I will normally do something to wake the igit up
-
Im a complete newb at this so forgive my ignorance but why is this "scary"?
-
Its ALOT scarier when you pass one asleep on the interstate. He may have been waiting for his codriver to finish his lunch.BIGDADDYBEAR Thanks this.

lol I've seen someone fall asleep on a forklift.. wow, talk about sleepy! This post reminded me of that day.. this forklift wasn't the sit down kind either.. The guy was standing up on a stand up fork and was parked in front of the windgate at our warehouse, apparently the breeze made him so comfortable he dosed off for at least 10 mins standing up and all.. I couldn't believe it.. so I blared my horn right next to him to wake his ##### up! lol scary though.. could have gotten himself killed or killed someone else
