Didn't see Doc Holiday's post b4 I posted. Wasn't referring to you about the private carrier deal. You had great points about the losing money thing, and I do remember doing those long DH from Texas to Marshalltown.

The Overbooking I was referring 2 was = to the Poor load planing.

Ex You have 20 loads and only 10 drivers in a 500 mile radius of plant.

Just don't expect me to do 1,000 mile dh on ice to cover your butt. When you could have let the plant know you don't have the trucks to cover those loads. On the other hand no ice. DEAD HEAD A BROTHER!!! :)

    DocHoliday Thanks this.

Don't be a sissy, and no company ever will turn down a load and say we don't have the trucks to cover it.

    Haz no issue,
I agree they did not intend to then or now, it just happens the load planners overbook, under plan.
Let me see if I can explain this easy,
Our Load planners no longer book our freight, they simply match trucks with the freight that is booked by the CSR's..

Makes no sense to me considering the CSR's do not know how to use the TMW system at all, in regards to looking when a drivers home time is, or how many hours the driver has, now the load planners do, and unfortunately the load planners are supposed to cover the loads.

In the process management has forgotten that if you do not get your drivers home on time and put your freight before your drivers sooner than later you will not have any quality drivers left.

This is a ongoing problem, look at the drivers who have left Scooby is just one of how many hundreds?

Until the management team Forces the Load planners and CSR's to make getting drivers home, and good average miles that are consistent they will continue to have a bad name in the industry.

The quality of new hires will be horrendous and the accidents will again rise as they hire inexperienced drivers who have no clue.

But the Management only cares about putting their numbers on paper to blow smoke up the ladder making things look good with twisted numbers.
My theory is who gives a rats ### how many loads we haul, who gives a rats ### about Whos Freight we haul.
As Drivers we want consistent Miles, to be home on time when we put in the request, and to be told the truth no lies, no BS.

Oh and let me not forget I could care less about a "new" truck as long as it is kept up.

And when a Manager fails to be active with the Drivers the very CORE of a trucking company and puts them off on the DM's who are powerless to change any plans the Load Planners make, then the Management has failed the Drivers who make the money that pays them.
A trucking company without drivers is like a Army without Guns.....

This Next note is not for any members of this forum, the admins, or Moderators and is directed at the office Jockey who reads this thread more often than the Pope reads the Bible.

If you have a personal issue with my post Mr. Office Jockey do not run to HR again, the constitution protects Freedom of Speech as you were told. And Second instead of running your mouth in the office, Call me, Better yet since you claim to have all this "power" and present yourself to be more superior than the current Ops Manager, or the Logistics/operations manager GET me to Greeley we can discuss this as two grown men if you are capable of carrying on a conversation without having the delusion that you can whoop anybody's ### as you have said you would do to me. Now see you went and complained to anybody who would listen to you about what I said several weeks ago in my post, then you ran your head about me in the office, I never once made any idle threats, or in any way have I ever insinuated that I would bring any physical harm to any member of this forum or any employee of JBS, however you want to interpret the things you read on here, remember this I am An American and I am protected by the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights.
Granted the company policy protects you from people you threaten, and Maybe one day you will grow up and become a professional who conducts himself as such in the office, Heaven forbid the day you carry out your idle threats on an employee, cause when you grab a bull by the tail, you might get the Horns too.
So saddle up cowboy, Because I will be your huckleberry. ( Had to get that out there folks I apologize for wasting the last 30 seconds of your life reading this but I have had enough of this "office bully" and his cry baby antics.)

Actually Tyson used to do that all the time, they are probally needing to reposition some trialers in the system, sometimes areas are short trailers, and JBS pays Jbs Carriers for the trailer move,or they have more freight in one area than they have available drivers so they reposition them. Its not from lack of freight ran 3900 last week.

Mr. Giant. Come on Mr. Trucker guy. You have Crappy attitude trucker guy down to the tee. Do you try to be such a sour puss or does it come natural? To have 6 years and to be like this is truly mind blowing. But from the list of the crappy companies you have worked for and is currently working for. I could see why you have this issue.

Knocking on that hard heart in need of love. Loving to see other's in the same down and out position as you. Scurrying along on the trucker report feeding off negativity. I too was once like you. Then Jesus came into my life. To give me a heart of life instead of death. To glory when someone is lifted up out of darkness, and to Sorrow when they are trapped in the bondage of darkness. God's word does not come back void. That prayer was for you brother. I serve a God who can change you.

Being Angry trucker guy doesn't fit you. You are hurting, and maybe you have seared your conscious to where you can't even fill it. But I know there is still blood flowing in that hard heart. You can call me whatever you want. But it won't stop me from praying for you. It won't stop me from loving you. Stop running from God's love bro. You have tried it your way, and if you can truly tell the truth. You know your way doesn't work. So brother. I know your'e to much of a macho man. To admit the Truth. A Giant you are not. Compared to my God.

Continue the Sour Attitude game. Continue feeding off negativity. Continue choosing crappy companies to work for. But when you get tired of being sick and tired. Call on the Lord and let him lead and guide you. The Best choice you will ever make. Until then. Love you bro.

281-785-0621 is my number. If you or anybody else wants to know how to draw near to the Lord. My name is Deleno. You don't even need me. He is waiting to comfort your soul. Just call on him. He has already sent his only begotten son to die for your sins. You just need for him to cover you. God bless folks and have a great day.
