I saw a post that said Petro Can was dry in Edmonton. UFA in Edson was out of fuel last night. I'm hoping Esso or Husky has fuel this morning or it's going to be a short day!

They god #### were! For 9 days now!!

Good thing we have a Chevron fuel card as well. Petro is just so convenient for me, that's why I use it.

Petros out in slave lake, esso has diesel though. Good thing I won't need to fuel until I'm back in edmonton. Co-op in moosomin was out last week and this weekk they had a sign saying 600L's only per day.

...they still need to provide fuel - it's not like they couldn't buy fuel from another company.:biggrin_25510:

Refineries in North America have been having capacity issues for a few years now, largely due to aging infrastructure, shutdowns and lack of expansion and new construction. Any time there is an incident or shutdown it gets reflected in supply problems. Two weeks ago there was an explosion at the Co-op refinery in Regina.

And that helps a lot in manipulating fuel prices.

I couldn't fill up all the way at the Husky in Morris, MB last week, and a few days ago I had the same thing happen in Calgary on Wrangler Rd. I thought is was a Husky thing at the time. Now I know.
