You made one mistake....walking out....now realize that you do not want to make that mistake again.
DRIVERS GET TESTED ALL THE TIME....GET USED TO IT. THE CONTROLS IN PLACE ARE TO KEEP YOU FROM CHEATING ON THE UA TEST....Get used to it. The yelling part was unnecessary...who knows why he was in there.
Maybe their controls to turn off all the water was not working and they therefore needed to have observation of you peeing. GET USED TO IT.
Drink a glass or two of water before you get tested. Do not pee an hour before your test. If you plan ahead a little bit, you will be able to pee in cup on the hour every hour. GET USED TO IT, IF YOU WANT TO BE CLASS A DRIVER, GET USED TO IT. Thousands of drivers are being tested every day....what can I say, except....Get Used to it.sweetdaddy915 Thanks this. -
Testing centers will watch you when they think you tried to alter the results...Just because you're ex-LEO doesn't mean you didn't smoke pot(or something else) and tried to hide something...Walking out almost proves THEIR case...I'll take you for your word, but my poo detector came off the peg when I read the OP...
I once took a UA and the nurse immediately tossed it out saying it wasn't hot enough...I asked her is she tried to pour it in a different cup to see if the thermometer on the first could have been off, she said she didn't think of that...So I had to sit for hours and then be watched...I passed with flying colors as it turned out the first cup's thermometer was faulty...Anytime they think you may have messed with the sample, you will be watched...
Sidenote: Why is it unconstitutional to test welfare recipients but not for employment?... -
Just scroll through this site and note all the "How do I hide my drug use" and I should be able to do drugs in my truck if I wanna" threads and you will figure out why these tests are out there and why they're so strict.

Pumpkin, that's some funny stuff! Pretty unique way of breaking the "pee pee" ice! Course as a trucker you are going to be peeing and poopin in front of others every single day. You'll be used to it in about a week! Believe it or not, everyone does it.
I met a driver who used to drive for Central and they had a colostomy bag. Kind of convenient I guess if you are a trucker, huh? Definitely could make someone mad wingin that out the window going down the interstate!

A tad off topic, but not really..
I had to do a UA test in the presence of a nurse back in 1989 (Unrelated to trucking).
It was tough, even after pre-drinking all morning.
She had to hover over me and off to the side.
Eventually I was able to pass enough and fill the glass up but man was that rough.
Could it get any worse? Sure.
4 months later, I started dating this hot chic. We went to a big shindig for Thanksgiving
at her family's house way out in the country...
In walks this lady..I thought to myself "gee she looks familiar" but I couldn't place her...
It was my new girlfriends Aunt....ok..so what?
She looks at me and says: "Do I know you from somewhere?"
Then it dawned on me....
Of course ya all can figure out where this went...walstib Thanks this. -
It will still go on his record, same as a failed one for dui only since it's a non driving test ( meaning he didnt take it due to a accident or traffic stop ) he can't lose his license.

Schools must comply with the FMCSR's as if they are a motor carrier if involved in interstate commerce. As the definition of interstate commerce is very broad ranging almost all fall under the requirement. Schools must keep a driver qualification file and must have drug tests performed.
Refer to interpretations for 382.103 http://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/rules-regu...csr/fmcsrruletext.aspx?reg=382.103&guidence=Y
Question 2: Are students who will be trained to be motor vehicle operators subject to alcohol and drug testing? Are they required to obtain a CDL in order to operate training vehicles provided by the school?
Guidance: Yes. 382.107 includes the following definitions:
Employer means any person (including the United States, a State, District of Columbia or a political subdivision of a State) who owns or leases a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV)s or assigns persons to operate such a vehicle. The term employer includes an employer's agents, officers and representatives.
Driver means any person who operates a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV)s.
Truck and bus driver training schools meet the definition of an employer because they own or lease Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV)s and assign students to operate them at appropriate points in their training. Similarly, students who actually operate CMVs to complete their course work qualify as drivers.
The CDL regulations provide that "no person shall operate" a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV)s before passing the written and driving tests required for that vehicle (49 CFR 383.23(a)(1)). Virtually all of the vehicles used for training purposes meet the definition of a CMV, and student drivers must therefore obtain a CDL.
The question then becomes what happens if a student either fails or refuses and what effect(s) it may have on his future. The FMCSR's state the various options which the MRO will relay to the student. As far as what effect this may have on his future, it depends.
If a student fails or refuses, the school is not bound to report this to anyone. If they use a private investigative service such as HireRite, they can of course report it to them if that is their policy. Otherwise the failure or refusal info sits in their files with no one the wiser. However if another school or a company requests the info and has the appropriate releases signed by the individual, then the school can release the info.
If the student chooses to not mention the school on any future applications (Either to another school or a prospective employee), and never admits to failing a DOT drug test, and the school didn't report to a private investigative service (And most don't) he will likely get away with it and not suffer any effects because of his failure or refusal.
Either way as far as the feds or a state is concerned it does not affect his ability to acquire a CDL.

OP, In your life, you will have to do many things you don't like. You can't simply run away.
Stand up and make the best of bad situations. It's part of being a man.
If you go into trucking, you have to be thick skinned or you'll never make it.7122894003481 Thanks this.
