Hello, I'm from Washington and I've decided to go with Stevens Transport for training and my first year. I have a wife here in Everett and I'm wondering if I'd be able to get a regional driving position once I graduate. I've also decided to live off of Nutrisystem food because it requires no refridgeration and somehow get a microwave w/o needing an inverter. Are there 110v plugins in the Steven's trucks?

Welcome to TTR. If you haven't already found it, here's a link to the Stevens sub-forum:

    http://www.thetruckersreport.com/truckingindustryforum/stevens/

You might find the answers to your questions there. If not, start a thread in there with your questions and you'll probably get more views than you're getting here. Good luck!

Welcome! You pretty much need an inverter for a microwave and they have to be bigger than the rating for start up power. Like a 800 watt microwave needs a 1500 watt inverter.

There's a few APU's with built in generators that put out 110V. But none of the big companies have them.

All the truckstops have a microwave you can use until you figure something out.

As far as regional, some companies let new drivers after they complete OTR with a trainer.
