If you are talking about CA, they go by the county markers. CA is slowly converting to state miles.

I will forward the other updates.

    Thanks,
    Mark

It does seem to mess up like he said, if it recalculates the logging stops.
    Thanks, Dale

Recently began hearing the radio ads for lifetime map updates for free, if you purchase a TND 510 or 710 from November 1 till December 31. That is a great but what about us who were the first to take a chance on these new models.
I purchased my TND 710 on April 2011 and had to deal with several issues including replacement of the unit. When the time comes to update the mapping software I will purchase another brand before I pay $80 for an update, while these late comers receive it for free, and the units at lower sale prices.

I am only to respond once. This is a support thread and I am not going off on a different loop explaining why a business does what it does. This means any business.

I want anyone that bought anything to understand, that when you buy something it is going to be one price. As time goes along prices either will drop or rise depending on the economy and to stay competitive.

If package deals (promos) are added then that is to help drive sales for any business.

I am not marketing nor do I work in marketing. I buy consumer goods just like you and as you I either buy something that may go down in price later or added promos are added.

This is the Holiday season for ALL businesses and you will see price drops or promo's to drive the sales.

Again, I am not going out on a different loop with this thread that anyone that buys anything can see daily price drops/rises or promo deals for any product.

Let's keep this thread back on track with support, issues, or help.

    Thanks,
    Mark

that is true but a GOOD company will do things for long time customers like nintendo did not long ago when they droped the price of the DS

any one that had paid the higher price (in the last year) got $60 in FREE game downloads...! now thats a CLASS ACT to keep long time customers happy and COMMING BACK
