Want to see the differences? On the outside anyway... Look at the pics Dragon posted, then look at the pics of my truck in my thread... JCWs is a lightweight, mine is a full-size Cascadia. Mine has the top bunk (storage space), an APU, bigger engine, more storage space.... Also a headache rack since Im flatbed, ignore that part. The Internationals are actually pretty nice inside, been in one. The Petes are extremely small. The Cascadias are nice too.

The only problem i mite have with that is having a rider on board. I would like my dad who is an ex trucker to come with me at times and also my wife. Hate to have them sit on a milk crate for 2500 miles lol
-
let your fm know you plan on having riders, Your Fm will see about getting you a full size, but they will aslo expect you to hold to that and get rider policys soon
-
K. They seem like a company that will really try to help you out as long as you run the miles your suppose to and don't complain much. Me and a friend are talking about going team. I would like to run solo first before i try teaming with anybody. I plan on running then teaming him when he gets on with the company. Maybe if i explain that to them they will try to set me up with a full size truck so i wont have to worry about switching out later.

Or go flatbed lol Only reason I managed to get a full-size truck

They do lightweights because they produce more profits off them. As well as the cars are cheaper to buy. The rewards to a lights and light and portable is they are a lot much simpler to progress and to raise again again because they are little.

so as a solo driver in a Lightweight how many miles do they average per week
-
My entire reefer upgrade class got lightweights. They were pretty strict on solo reefers getting it. Yes. They are small. But they aren't the worse thing out there. And you make.extra money with them.

Does anyone know what model the kws are? Do you have any type of choice as to what lightweight tractor u get?
-
i dont know what model the kws are but i think the lighweight kws are reserved for ppl who have been here for a while i been told that you may have a choice between the lighweight freightliner or pete depending upon what they have on the yard
